Press Release CriticalArc’s SafeZone

Newbury, United Kingdom, 11th February 2020

Qolcom and CriticalArc today announced a strategic partnership to develop and deliver location-aware incident management and security solutions within the UK.

The agreement builds on long-standing strengths of each partner in the Education sector and creates a unique relationship to deliver tailored location-aware solutions for higher education, healthcare and other industries, based on CriticalArc’s incident management software and Aruba Meridian Location Services.

CriticalArc’s SafeZone solution is ideally suited to enable executive and operational stakeholders to transform how they manage safety and security to protect their most important asset, their people. The SafeZone platform is further enhanced by an indoor positioning solution empowered by Aruba’s Meridian Location Services, which provides a 3D view of incidents down to the floor, wing, and room level. Qolcom is an Aruba Platinum Partner with proven skills in delivering location aware services.

Keith Reading, Qolcom CEO said “CriticalArc is a key element of our strategy to develop digital solutions to the challenges facing organisations today. We are able to address issues related not only to security and incident management but also improving user experience and enhancing workplace efficiencies.”

Darren Chalmers-Stevens, Managing Director at CriticalArc added “Our relationship with Qolcom is the result of a like-minded vision of what our combined technical understanding and digital skills can achieve. Our partnership is an opportunity to deliver integrated safety solutions to a wider network of users across industries.”

Qolcom will co-sponsor CriticalArc’s fourth annual SafeZone EMEA Conference at Reading Football Club Conference & Events, Madjeski Stadium, Reading, Berkshire on February 26th – 27th.
