The Issue

The manufacturer wanted to create a smooth and consistent experience across all the dealerships. Dealers who offered the full range of tailoring services for the sale of cars were to be provided with an app visually depicting each car’s individual specification.

The manufacturer also wanted to achieve a Mobile-First way of working, to better engage with their customers, removing reliance on paper, improving customer experience and strengthening their brand.

The Solution

The customer chose a fully managed service for their devices, including centralised procurement for their 1,000 iPads, delivered to 40 countries globally.

The managed service includes a MobileIron implementation with gold image, which maintains the mobile device estate, maintaining the correct versions of apps, operating systems, and security, with warranty and break-fix, service and support, and all moves, adds and changes delivered from Qolcom’s support centre.
